Common questions
Do I need a credit card for the free tier?
No. Free, signed-in or not, never asks for a card. The Free tier is our trial: three diagnostics per week (rolling), tomorrow's earnings preview, and the Saturday digest. Try it as long as you like.
Is there a free trial for Insider?
Not yet — because the permanent Free tier already lets you sample the product without a card. When you're ready for the three-week scanner, filters, and the ranked-strategy column, upgrade. Insider is $49/mo, cancel anytime.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. One click from your account page opens the billing portal — cancel there and you keep Insider access until the end of your current period, then you drop back to the Free tier automatically. No emails, no retention calls.
What's the refund policy?
If something's clearly broken and we can't fix it, we'll prorate a refund within 7 days of purchase. Beyond that we don't refund — but you can cancel and stop future charges immediately.
Monthly vs annual — which is better?
Annual ($490/yr) saves you 17% — about two months free — and locks in the current price. Monthly ($49/mo) is right if you're testing whether the scanner fits your workflow. You can switch either way from the billing portal.
What happens to my /app history if I downgrade?
Your recent-lookups history stays intact. You go back to the 3/day cap, and your access to the three-week scanner window shrinks to today+tomorrow. If you re-upgrade later, everything comes back on.
